This is a free layout site created by me. I seem to get more inspiration when making things for other people as opposed to making layouts for my many sites and I wanted to give them to you to help make diaryland a prettier place. I am making these in my free time and so the collection will continue to grow. Fell free to give me a suggestion of a layout you'd like to see, but remember, custom layouts are gifts and can't be asked for, so if I do decide to make your suggestion (which is entirely up to me) it will be free for anyone to use, not just you. Another thing about Custom layouts, the idea is that they layout is only for one person and one person only, so please do not try to recreate any of my custom layouts for your own site.


Terms of Use:
1. All free layouts are linkware. Linkware means you can use them for free AS LONG as you have a link to me on all pages using the designs. I put links in all the layouts so you should just keep them in there. Editing the links so that they blend in with the background (or any other way of hiding them) is wrong. If you take out the credit info it's considered stealing and you don't want to do that.

2. I am now able to host the images for you. You should still save the images in case I delete them or if there is a problem where they are hosted. You may also want to upload them to your own server, or get a Gold Account and put them there. DO NOT direct-link to the versions in the PATH directory here, that is called bandwith theft and will not be tolerated.

3. DO NOT change any part of the layout, other than the sections listed on the page for that layout. Anything else would most likely mess up the look or structure of the layout. And really, what's the point of getting a layout from a designer and then changing it all around?

4. Leave me a note or sign my guestbook to let me know you used one of my templates, you might even want to add 'jlkdesigns' to your favorite diaries list in your profile. That way I can easily see everyone linking to me and add them to the link section and my favorite diaries list. Another benefit of this is that your buddylist will let you know when I have a new entry and so won't miss the latest news on my layouts, including updates to coding and new layouts.

5. If you need any help installing the layouts feel free to contact me by e-mail: jamie_lynn_98@yahoo.com, or AIM: JLK9182 and I will do my best to help you out in any way possible. I am even willing to install the layout for you if you give me your password.

6. Use of my layouts signifies acceptance of these terms of use, EVEN if you have not read them. I will hold you to any rules that I have written on this site.


Information about my layouts:
* My laptop is set to 1024x768 resolution with True Colors. I use Internet Explorer 6.0 and run WindowsXP. All my layouts are best viewed with these settings.

* I try to test all layouts with Browser Sizer to make sure you can use them in 800x600 resolution as well.

* I also have Netscape 7.0 and periodically test them with that to see if they look right.

* I will put a message in the info for the layout about any problems you might have viewing in Netscape or with a smaller resolution.

* Custom layouts are special gifts from me, don't ask for them, I am not taking requests. I make custom layouts for my friends or people whose diaries I think deserve something better than the templates that diaryland provides. Do not try to recreate one of my custom layouts for your own use, they are intended for use ONLY by the person I made them for.
